Jolshiri Golf Club: Nestled Within Jolshiri Abashon City.

Jolshiri Golf Club (JGC) is sister concern of Jolshiri Abashon Project, a smart residential city in Dhaka. Nestled between the Purbachal Expressway and Madani Avenue in Sector 17 of Jolshiri Abashon, the golf course offers a tranquil escape and recreational haven for residents and visitors alike. Jolshiri Golf Course was picturesquely built in 2023, with the impressive newly constructed Arc Bridge over River Balu as a majestic backdrop. It’s setting on the rolling green pastures and glistening canals makes it a pleasure to play.

Born from a Vision:

• Conceptualized in 2010 alongside Jolshiri Abashon, a smart residential city.
• Initially planned as an 18-hole course in 2014 but changed to a 9-hole course in 2018  due to land limitations.
• Earth filling of the course started in 2019.
• In 2021, The 9 hole Jolshiri Golf Course was designed by an International Golf Course Architect, Paul Jansen of Jansen Golf Design & Construction, (Pelz Player Greens and Raflewski Golf Design) and he was assisted by Brig Gen Selim Akhter (Retd), BP. 
• Landscapping and grading the fairways and greens were started on 07 January 2021.
• Foundation stone of the clubhouse was laid on 01 April 2023 by  General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP(BAR), OSP, ndu, psc, PhD, Chief Patron & CAS, Bangladesh Army
• A maiden tee-off tournament was held in 29 and 30 December 2023 to study the feasibility and test the course.
• Officially inaugurated on 21 June 2024 by  General S M Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP(BAR), OSP, ndu, psc, PhD, Chief Patron & CAS, Bangladesh Army
